Here is my submission for Mark's Paper Company Blog Challenge! (The Challenge: Using no less than 75% of Marks Paper Company’s products, use the word gift and create a scrapbook page, altered item, home décor item, mini album, you name it. How creative can you be?)

Title: "Smiles with Dad... Our Memories are Gifts While He is Away"

As many of you know, my husband is in Afghanistan right now (photo in bottom right).

Mark's Paper Co. really has some great paper going on over there... check it out! (FYI - My layout used the beautiful Mark's Paper Company "August Collection", DCWV cardstock, Chatterbox brads, Junkitz buttons, machine stitching, and some Cricut and Quickutz die shapes.)
