Use a wavy-edge blade to cut your pumpkin paper strips, then attach them to a jar or small container. I decorated the pumpkin with "curly hair" made from patterned paper, ribbon, and brads for the eyes.
I really think the scarecrow really "finishes" the project... yes, I did machine sew his "clothes" with patterned paper and then stuffed him with raffia ... LOL!
